Receiving a Treatment Intravenously
Infusion therapy is done intravenously. Liquid is delivered directly into a vein via a needle and IV drip – usually on the hand or lower arm.
The length of your treatment may vary depending on the dosage you are receiving. Your infusion may take as little as a few minutes up to several hours depending on which therapy you are receiving.
After checking in at Enhanced Wellness, you will be seated in a comfortable, reclining chair.
A practitioner will begin your treatment after explaining the duration and answering any questions you may have.
You may bring reading material or a snack with you. (Please avoid foods with a strong odor as they may cause nausea for others receiving treatment.)
Dress comfortably. The Enhanced Wellness facility may feel cool, especially after having received IV fluids. Blankets are available.
